AxiTrader is an Australian-based forex broker that was founded in 2007. Regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), AxiTrader’s headquarters are in Sydney, Australia. In 2010, AxiTrader expanded its global presence when it founded its London office, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
AxiTrader is one of the most client-friendly brokers in the world, as it offers very competitive spreads on 80 different currency pairs. AxiTrader is a MetaTrader-only broker that offers its clients access to powerful add-ons and plugins, like Autochartist and PsyQuation.
These qualities make AxiTrader a suitable trading broker for beginner, intermediate, and experienced forex traders.
Regulation
AxiTrader is regulated and licensed by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC).
Moreover, AxiCorp Limited has a London-based entity that is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Regions Available
AxiTrader is an available broker in the Forest Park FX cash back rebate program to traders in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and APAC regions, subject to certain country-specific restrictions. Due to regulations it is not currently available to United States or Canadian residents.
Types of Accounts
AxiTrader offers its clients two types of accounts — both of which use MetaTrader 4 as their trading platforms.
MT4 Standard Account
Standard Accounts at AxiTrader are very accessible to the low-volume or inexperienced forex trader as they require no minimum deposit.
AxiTrader’s Standard Account allows users to trade 80 currency pairs, commodities, and equity indices with extremely competitive spreads and no commission fees.
MT4 Standard Accounts support AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, SGD, USD. Moreover, this account type supports micro trading with a minimum trade size of just 0.01 lots. Traders also have access to up to 400:1 in margin, free access to Autochartist, and free VPS hosting depending on trading volume.
MT4 Pro Accounts
Like the MT4 Standard Account, MT4 Pro Accounts do not require a minimum deposit. As such, low-volume traders can still take advantage of the tighter spreads and commission rates that are typically only available to high-volume traders.
Spreads for Pro Accounts start as low as 0.0 pips with commission rates as low as $3.50 per lot per side. Pro Account holders are also offered instant execution with no requotes.
AxiTrader offers clients with a Pro Account access to ECN-style deep liquidity, AxiTrader’s price improvement technology, low swap rates, free VPS hosting, and more.
Both MT4 Standard and Pro Accounts support automated trading via Expert Advisors, access to MT4 NexGen, and mobile trading.
Lastly, both account types offer a 30-day demo account where users can practice trading in a simulated environment. This allows traders to get used to the MT4 and develop their trading strategies before going live.
Deposits & Withdrawals
AxiTrader clients can use the following methods to fund their accounts:

Withdrawals can be made by logging into the AxiTrader client portal. Both deposits and withdrawals are fee-free.
The time it takes for clients to receive their funds is as follows:
- Neteller – Same day or next day
- Global Collect – 3-5 business days
- BPAY – Same day or next day
- Bank Transfer – Same day or next day for local withdrawals and 3-5 days for international withdrawals
- China Union Pay – 1-3 business days
Like most other brokers, AxiTrader does not allow third-party deposits or withdrawals as doing so would leave account holders vulnerable to fraud.
Commissions & Fees
For Standard Accounts, there is no commission. Instead, AxiTrader incorporates its transaction fees into the bid-offer spread.
Average spreads for Standard Accounts on EUR/USD is 1.46 pips with spreads as low as 1.0 pip. AxiTrader is able to consistently offer low and competitive spreads thanks to its network of tier-one prime brokers and liquidity providers.
On the other hand, Pro Account holders are charged a commission rate of $3.50 per side or $7 per round turn lot in exchange for much tighter spreads. The average spread on EUR/USD for pro accounts is 0.9 pips and has been as low as 0.1 pips.
Overall, AxiTrader’s pricing remains very competitive with other major forex trading brokers.

Traders who open an account at AxiTrader with a minimum deposit of at least $1,000 are offered free access to the MT4 NexGen add-on. The add-on consists of various plugins that can be used to enhance the already powerful capabilities of default MetaTrader 4. This includes plugins such as:
